We need a general tweet of the day thread

Might as well make it the Joke of the Day thread too.

U.S. Navy destroyer stops four Mexicans attempting to enter
the USA illegally in a boat.

The Captain gets on the megaphone and shouts, "Ahoy, small craft. Where are you headed?"

One of the Mexicans puts down his oar, stands up, & shouts, "Gringo, we are invading the United States of America to reclaim the territory taken by the USA during the War of 1812."

The entire crew on the destroyer doubles over in laughter, the Captain finally catches his breath, gets back on the megaphone & asks, "Just the four of you?"

The same Mexican stands up again and shouts, "No Señor, we are the last four, thanks to your President Biden . . the other 21 million are already there."

Not sure I'd survive without the Onion and the Bee.

Is the Onion still a thing? I haven't seen anything linked to them in any of the conservative blogs I follow. Interesting that there isn't a leftard Babylon Bee. Or if there is, our stellar crew of leftards here, who don't read anything, haven't posted anything remotely funny since I jumped onto the Tug/Pump.

What kind of fucktard would vote for such a lying POS administration?

Who is that person? You gals think I what political TV all day?

The overdone hand gestures sold me. She must be right.

Supposedly she will be replaced within a month.

It's hard to be funny while crying about Trump while simultaneously dreaming about transgenders, fags, child grooming and child rape. Priorities priorities!

Bunch of University of Florida professors (not SEC tough apparently) want to anonmously teach online while getting paid for being in the classroom and having office hours. Of course the students are paying for actual in person education. Apparently, the professors would prefer to work for the University of Phoenix and get paid accordingly. Not being on accountability either.

'I broke down and sobbed': Profs lose it over UF attempt to make them show up for work[/b]
As it encourages more students to return to campus, the University of Florida implemented a feature to allow students to report when professors teach remotely classes they were scheduled to teach in-person.
Some professors are not happy with the development.

In a Jan. 11 memo, Vice President for Student affairs D’Andra Mull asked students to report “f there are any inconsistencies with course delivery for your face-to-face or online courses, such as not being provided the opportunity to meet in person for your face-to-face class...UF staff will review every concern and follow up as appropriate.”

That statement was met with swift backlash from professors.

"Students can report instructors not in person via the gators safe app," UF Psychology Professor Lisa Scott tweeted. "They added a button just for this purpose. I'm more than a little disturbed by this."

She then urged UF to "do better," reminding the school that "we've been working our asses off for you through all of this." [Like sure. Nothing better than a tenured professorship at a large state university with a 12 hour work week and your papers graded by graduate students.

Make their lives as miserable as possible until they quit.

I sense DeSantis is getting his pen ready.
