Go figure. So, in 2019 the Oregon dem legislature passed a massive corporate gross receipts tax to solve the non-existent Oregon school funding "problem". In this case, the proponents (Teacher Unions) promised that they wouldn't come in the public's mouth[/s] mechanisms would be set in place to insure that the new funds would be used to actually educate the kids. Sure. The killer quote, the billion dollar a year corporate tax failure to meet the required standards means the funds ".... could be put to sub-optimal use."
