Well, in this case, the apple fell far away from the tree then rolled down hill to escape the communism. Ron Wyden, Oregon senator, (met him when he and I were at Oregon and he way a lying POS back then) wants a wealth tax on the wealthy. The 1% of the top earners pay almost 40% of all the federal income tax and if living in a blue state have a confiscatory income tax of over 50% of their marginal income. Seems to me to be a lot more than their fare share. His son believes in the American dream and understands the feds would just waste any supposed additional taxes that they raise. Must be an interesting dynamic at the family Hanukah dinner/dinners.

[MSNBC host Tiffany] Cross played a clip of Carville — former strategist for President Bill Clinton — recently appearing on the PBS NewsHour and blaming “wokeness” like the “defund the police” movement for recent weak showings by Democrats in Virginia and New Jersey. After she asked Martin for his reaction, the frequent MSNBC guest and talk show host unloaded on Carville and white men:

I think Carville should shut the ‘F’ up because I’m sick of these white men whining and complaining about wokeness when you like it when black folks and Latinos and young white voters and Asians are voting for candidates. How about this, James Carville? How about you go learn how to cut some Lincoln Project-type ads for the Democratic party?

Maybe Pfizer can start working on a vaxx against lead bullets. But blue states and cities love to worry and enforce vaxx mandates. Shootings? Lots of talk, but no enforcement - arrests and jail time for violent offenders.

Currently the city of Chicago and Mayor Lori Lightfoot's hugely controversial vaccine status disclosure mandate for police officers remains at a tense stalemate, a week after an Illinois judge handed the police union a major victory, ruling that an arbitrator must examine the policy before the city can implement it based on prior union agreements and rules with the city.

After the restraining order was issued by Cook County Judge Raymond Mitchell, Chicago Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara Jr said: "We're simply asking this judge to force the city to stop their policy, put officers back to work, and force the city to go back to the bargaining table and arbitration."

Things are still at a standstill with this ongoing fight which has grabbed headlines, but violent crime certainly isn't on pause. This past weekend saw gun violence soar once again, with at least 50 people reported shot, including ten killed, according to a Monday update by police records.

One of the things that I noticed a long time ago is the complete lack of humor in most leftards attempt at humor. Look at the Pump. Non-leftards are constantly posting political cartoons or Babylon Bee memes. These are a small fraction of the supposed world of humor, but Pump leftards rarely post a cartoon and if they do, they just aren't funny. hey are just miserable liars and occasionally take some sort of twisted delight out of a skit or cartoon that has no basis in reality. A late night comedian saying, "Fuck Trump" is supposed to be great humor. So CRT is being taught across the country to school kids - this is what passes for humor.

Lefties have no sense of humor. The Babylon Bee made them butthurt, and the Atlantic interview with them was a self own.
