Even Mayor Ted is getting some negative feedback on all the new and proposed taxes and fees. What a heartless bastard. If the average undertaxed employed Portlander just paid a little bit more we could our Portland back. For some reason, utility bills are going up thanks to the dems adoption of cheap green renewable energy policies. Go figure.

Friend for years bemoaned my desire to cut taxes. After a divorce, he and ex sell home in Bellevue adjacent to Medina. Capital gains came and he and ex both had to pay 100k a piece. He didn't go out and buy a new place, but based on interest this year, had to pay 17k. My response that "the government needed it more than you or your kids" has tilted his thinking on taxes. He's still Joe Biden FS but one small victory.

The dementia patient wants to repeal Trump's tax cuts to punish the rich. Always the smart move if you don't understand basic economics. Oh, and increased spending. Nothing says economic stimulus like wasteful government spending for mello and his fellow non-productive government employees and higher taxes on the productive private sector.
