I had a couple cool middle school teachers used to go meet them to go drinking in my mid 20s. Lol they must've been young back then

Then they bitch about not being able to go to the downtown waterfront. The Vancouver waterfront is turning into a pretty great place to have lunch/dinner and then a walk. They're demolishing the old Quay and building a farmers market on that spot. Now just need to take out the trash and keep more from coming across the bridge.
They have no F'n business to conduct in Vancouver. I propose Vancouver set up a checkpoint on the I-5 bridge. Undesirables get tossed in the Columbia if they refuse to turnaround. Don't worry there will be a boat to fish them out and return them to the homeless encampment on the OR side. If I were King.

Hell, when I was a kid they wouldn't have dreamed of a field trip to a regular bar. Then they were focused on reading, writing and arithmetic. Just don't call it grooming.

It's not longer even debateable. They want to normalize homosexuality and trannies and they feel that the schools are the vehicles to do this. They don't care if parents object, parents are the problem and the source of the "homo/transphobia" their bigoted opinions don't matter. For those of you who think that schools should stick to reading and writing and math, get used to it. This is the new woke education. Get your kids out of the public schools.
I had no doubt that my son and daughter were hetero. Like me and my wife, on the hard side of hetero. We were pretty frank about gays, even when they were in elementary school. My daughter was a top three sport athlete, soccer, basketball and softball. It's a little known fact that women sports attract lesbians. We were at some event and won a door prize for front row seats to the women's WNBA team opener for the Portland Fire. My wife took my 12 year old daughter. When they got back, I asked her if she had a good time. Her response, "Dad, there were lesbians everywhere." Going to a gay bar wasn't going to switch my son or daughter.
My concern is to the messed up kids in the middle with bad parenting at home. If you are born gay, let it play out through at least age 10 or 11. It's okay to be gay. It's not okay to groom vulnerable kids that being female or male is a choice and that choice should be gay or trans.
Hit them over the head with this until they bleed. "How do you define the term "woman".

“When does life begin, in your opinion,” Senator Kennedy asked Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson for starters.
“Senator… um… I don’t… know,” Judge Jackson replied, followed by an uneasy, awkward laugh.
“Do you have a belief?” Kennedy pressed.
“I have, um, personal religious and otherwise beliefs that have nothing to do with the law in terms of when life begins,” Jackson responded.
“Do you have a personal belief though about when life begins?” Kennedy probed.
“I have a religious view that I set aside when I am ruling on cases,” Jackson evaded again.
Senator Kennedy pushed further on the point, asking Judge Jackson an important follow-up, “When does equal protection of the laws attach to a human being?”
“Well Senator, um… I believe that the Supreme Court… um… actually I, I actually don’t know the answer to that question — I’m sorry — I don’t,” Judge Jackson responded, again with an ill-timed grin on her face as her initially confident answer turned to another know-nothing response.
And as a follow-up to Jackson’s showstopper last night, “Democrats don’t understand that, for better or worse, every candidate this cycle, and maybe even in 2024, is going to be asked ‘How do you define the term ‘woman’?’ And [their] candidates won’t have an answer,” Pradheep J. Shanker tweets.
