For the life of me I can't figure out why tuition vouchers would be unconstitutional. Only wealthy democrats should be able to send their kids to private school is their argument to deny private school to poor kids.

Kidnapping a high visibility target seems stupid compared to taking a low visibility target and keep the kidnapping quiet. The odds of the Guthrie kidnappers getting the ransom paid and releasing Guthrie alive and not getting arrested seems pretty minimal at this point. The cartel seems like a likely candidate but what is the upside versus the downside? None of this makes sense except some morons with some knowledge of Guthrie and her house thought they could get some quick bitcoins out of this and now they have no path forward because they publicized the kidnapping and its on the news 24/7.
