Without even look at the standings I did my own version of power rankings in my head, and we were tied with Arizona at sixth...again, yeah, it's better to be 8-4 than 3-9, but I honestly don't understand why people keep thinking the special season is around the corner if we just hang in there. Uh oh, I'd better stiffle it because RECRUITS READ THESE BOARDS!!

Disagree. UW gets a new coach at 3-9. Going 8-4 is like making the NBA playoffs as a #7 or #8 seed. No chance in hell of winning anything that matters and no chance of blowing shit up and rebuilding.
 
2009 - 7th out of 10
2010 - T3 out of 10 (tied with USC, beat them H2H)
2011 - 3rd in North, T4 overall (did not play UCLA)
2012 - 4th in North, T6 overall (3 way tie)
2013 - 3rd in North, either T5 or 6th alone

UW has always been at least two games plus tiebreakers away from winning its division since expansion.

But by all means, keep Sark because he's clearly the guy to "meet the expectations" of the program.

If the Mariners got to play 40 games against Triple A teams, they might actually achieve a 66.6667% winning percentage.

The Pac is extremely tough right now.
