January 1st, 2024, the Rose Bowl, Overtime, 4th and Goal from the 3. Instead of running a designed QB run, Jaden Millroe fakes and finds one the 4 receivers he had in man coverage on the play for an easy TD. I mean seriously, what the fuck were they doing?

Bama throws an easy slant for a TD, then decides to go for 2, gets it, and wins the game.
What happens the next week?

Milrose took a bad sack that pushed Bama out of fg range mid 4th quarter that would have made it two score game which I don't think Michigan would have been able to overcome.
We matched up better with Alabama as Michigan OL pushed everyone around Harbaugh's final 3 years minus Georgia in 2021 CFP, and our 5 couldn't block Michigan's 4 as game wore on.
 
Here's one non-hypothetical that I've had to accept is that Michigan was really good. They were better than us at every position other than QB, WR, OT, and maybe C and on defense those spots it was really significant and they had the best QB they've ever had, even if I'm not a believer. Their team had played together through three playoff runs and was coached by one of the best football coaches of the past 20 years. It was going to take a good game, particularly by the guys we had who were better than theirs and of them, only Rome played well. Seriously Rosengarten, what happened?
Michigan seemed better than Alabama, but they had a clunker game unfortunately. I'll always remember McCarthy threw a terrible pick on the first play but got bailed out because the Bama DB was on the sideline a tiny bit and if that doesn't happen it's possible he unglues like he year before against TCU.
I think if they play 10 times UW could easily win at least 5 times because I think being elite at QB/WR/OT makes up for a lot these days.
