Wazzu QB Connor Halliday Breaks NCAA Passing Record, Still Loses

When his playing days are over they should retire the Cougar as mascot and appoint Halliday. He is the ideal unlovable loser and embodies the WSU joie de vivre of a 59 point 750 passing yard, missed chip shot loss.

He continues to be a great team leader, just worrying about himself. Well, he mentioned his offense this time around.

Did you see him yucking it up with the Cal QB after the game? He obviously doesn't give a shit about winning or losing. He's trying to write his own ticket to the NFL... really can't say that I blame him. Leach blows and Wazzu continues to be a train wreck. There's really no upside over there.

Each candidate had a strong Heisman showing yesterday for sure, but the voters typically need to see the candidates battle adversity and come out victorious against a top ranked team. It will be critical in the coming weeks to see Missed FG and Dropped Pass show up in more clutch situations vs quality opponents.

Don't count out Multiple Sacks, he's this year's Heisman dark horse and really made a mark for himself yesterday in the Bruins game.

Either way it will be interesting, or it won't.
