I've always thought the portal was overblown but the fact is UW was left so bare by graduating, Jimmy not recruiting for two cycles, and portals out they had no choice, especially at OL. The other units I can live with what they got but OL is scary.
I would have thought with all the guys getting drafted this weekend gone it would have freed up a ton of NIL money to do more in the portal but maybe I was wrong.
it’s probably all the rape and bike assaults that’s scaring off the top talents.
All honesty, I’m starting to wonder if there’s anything to this cost of living discussion that’s been mentioned a couple times.
Sounds like a booster needs to buy a condo complex and then put the top NIL/portal transfers in there as part of the deal. I’m sure this is being done somewhere already.
