Look at what the state and feds do with hundreds of billions of tax dollars for "education". Never enough money and no accountability or responsibility. Give the tax dollars to parents in the form of tuition vouchers and let them choose. Nothing says dem hypocrisy like denying tuition vouchers to the poor and sending their own kids to private school because the local public schools suck.

Oregon is going through the same crap. Non-Binary Harry Potter wants to take 60% of the kicker away from residence to pay for wildfire defense. To put it in perspective, our state kicker last year was nearly $7,000 and we're maybe considered upper middle class. So, our rug munching Governor wants take away on average $2k-$3k from the average biannual kicker that state households receive to pay for something that would be free, if they only opened up the state forest areas for sustainable logging/forest management. They would earn additional income as well. West coast governments are ran by bona fide retards.

California has massive gas taxes and they're starting to have shortfalls due to electric vehicles. Now time for a mileage tax.

Democrats will tell you to your face when you are working with them one on one that legislation is only there to control behavior. To force the masses to bend to the will of the elites. It is a strongly held belief of The Bitch and a central force in socialism. They believe that only they can live the unbridled life they want, and the little people need to live within the confines that liberals create for them. Insider trading? You and I will get the slammer. Skin Tuck Pelosi openly gets more and more rich off of it. Masks for everyone else, but not the elites. Sexual harassment? You lose your job in the private sector, the taxpayers pay for congressmen's defense and payoffs when they get busted and the congressmen get to keep their jobs, etc. etc.
The democrats know taxes are regressive. They know that they could take every dime of every 100 millionaire on up and it wouldn't do squat for anyone. Wouldn't even make a dent in anything budget wise. They know this. Its simple math. Today it is gas, yesterday it was carbon emissions, the day before it was increased taxes on water and sewer. Property taxes continue to go up. Increasing taxes on alcohol and soft drinks. In Portland they increased taxes to pay for a homeless problem that democrats created. The list goes on and on. There are virtually millions of different taxes that the democrats have increased and continue to increase. Its how they control people. It's what socialism, communism, dictatorships, fascists, monarchy's, etc. all have done since the beginning of time and democrats just keep doing it.

This year's budget of alleged "cuts" is actually a continuation of increased spending. It just increased spending at a slightly lower rate than before.
