Washington vs Oregon Rivarly 10 Year Fupdate

It wasn't even a proper "best record" format. It was a scoring system that rewarded the best loss. UW still could have jumped Utah if Cal beat UCLA which is insane.
And going forward in 18 team conferences with 9 conference games the tiebreakers to determine who gets to play for a conference title and a shot at a CFP bye (and a top 2 seed for teams in the B1G or SEC) are going to be amazing.
All this shit is stupid. Going through the full conference schedule and it's just weird. Gonna hate two bye weeks in a season and don't want a fucking bye week every year before Oregon. I'm also really excited to have Michigan and Ohio State play in the last game of the season and then have a rematch a week later. Or, hypothetically Oregon and Washington.

It's going to get dumb anyways after it's determined that common opponent record still ties teams, but the dumb fuck Pac 12 threw together a system that was so fucking stupid that all of the Oregon/Washington/Utah fanboys sat and argued with spreadsheets about who was going to get in, with almost nothing official from the conference. It looks like it was designed to not punish UCLA and USC for losing their rivalry game so they could get the LA schools for a rematch.
