Two more Labor Days I don’t have to go to Seattle!

I remember in 2011 my frens got me to go hiking when the Huskies played Eastern. It took a lot of convincing... “Come on DDJ! It’s EASTERN! You don’t want to ruin your Labor Day weekend to watch a blowout[/i].”

(See, back then I had something called passion and cared.)

On the trail I came across a guy wearing a UW hat, listening to a radio and looking stressed. “WHAT’S THE SCORE?!?!” I asked. “We’re losing,” the man replied. My friends groaned as they knew I’d bitch about missing the game for the rest of hike.

(As you might recall we? still won 30-27.)

Fuck Eastern and fuck playing them on Labor Day weekend.

Crowd breakdown: 5-7k Eagle Fans Dressed in Red
38-40K UW fans dressed in Purple
25-30K fans dressed as empty seats come kickoff

And we are still going to pay them a million dollars to come here. At $100 per person in lost revenue by the time you add ticket, parking, food, beverage, merchandise, etc your talking somewhere between 2.5 and 3 million dollars b/c of the empty seats and who you scheduled.

BTW, @Doog_de_Jour , relative to relocation, Cheney is nice. Close to GEG for getaways. Red turf grows on you and you could buy a place in one of 3-star Stan Empterman's developments.
