I remember in 2011 my frens got me to go hiking when the Huskies played Eastern. It took a lot of convincing... “Come on DDJ! It’s EASTERN! You don’t want to ruin your Labor Day weekend to watch a blowout[/i].”

(See, back then I had something called passion and cared.)

On the trail I came across a guy wearing a UW hat, listening to a radio and looking stressed. “WHAT’S THE SCORE?!?!” I asked. “We’re losing,” the man replied. My friends groaned as they knew I’d bitch about missing the game for the rest of hike.

(As you might recall we? still won 30-27.)

Fuck Eastern and fuck playing them on Labor Day weekend.

Do you even watch the games? No way there are 38k fans wearing purple. More like 10k. Another 10k in black, 5k in white, 5k in tan, 5k in a myriad of other UW branded colors. You'll have the 500 WSU dorks and even a few Ducks hoping to see Eastern pull off the upset.
