Laughable. Sludge defends Communism because gas taxes! What’s Idaho’s income tax rate again? Five-and-a-half percent?

“The average Washingtonian pays approximately $600 in gas taxes annually, assuming they drive 12,000 miles a year and get 20 miles per gallon, according to the Washington Policy Center.”
And it’s not as if Idaho doesn’t impose any gas tax.

Things the dazzler votes for but then forgets about because he loves nothing more than an honest policy debate. Like the baked in 50 cent a gallon carbon tax on gasoline that isn't a gas tax because it has nothing to with gasoline but the carbon in the gasoline. So it doesn't affect a family's gas bill because…

Gasbag helpfully offers that if I was driving to and from the Moon every day, the difference in gas taxes could make Idaho look a lot better.

Madam, I can't possibly consume enough gasoline in Washington to make paying taxes in Idaho (or Oregon) a better move financially. That was the subject. I know it's not merely your dementia that causes you to stray from it.

It comes down to what you do with the money. When you would rather shovel money at public school DEI administrators and no accountability teachers than put together an actual education program and return discipline into the public schools, then no more "money for the children". You think the dazzler would put tax dollars into the hands of parents so they can get their kids out of the hell hole of most public schools? Nope. It's all about the education and homeless grift. Then toss in the billions wasted on public transportation that the public doesn't want or use. Rather than make public transportation safe like Rudy did in NYC, it is to stop posting pictures of violent criminals on public transportation or attempting to stop publishing.

This thread is about the remote possibility that the Democrats in Washington will try to pass an income tax (affecting none of you) on incomes exceeding $1 million. Meanwhile, most of you pay a state income tax, while Race and I do not. And even if this were to become law, Race still would not.
 
The issue is what is Washington going to do with the money. The dems have no intent on fixing anything, just shoveling more money into the maw of the dem/NGO machine.
