I’m inclined to think that the reason that Mohammed left through the portal is because he knew what was coming behind of him. Washington was injured and didn’t play much before the bowl game. He showed up in that game. I compare it to Fifita not transferring from Arizona. I initially wanted him to come over. He didn’t. I think he did not because he knew Demond would be coming over and displacing him.

Fisch has his faults but identifying talent is not one of them. We have alot of young talent coming back and incoming. Look at the players he recruited to Az and so far at UW. I also think we have breakout players coming that we don’t know their names because they were not highly rated recruits. I’m interested to see how the next couple of seasons plays out.

Washington is talented but there's no way in hell he can carry 15+ times a game and hold up for the full season. The RB room is a total mystery right now.

It seems obvious that Muhammad was looking to be paid above what Washington was offering. I dont think there is a big mystery… he realized it was a one time opportunity.
