Washington is beating Ohio State

The video production/quality that is going to come out of Ohio State practicing at a needle/bum-infested park in Seattle >

If Day doesn't talk about playing music loud at practice to prepare for the game then UW is winning

Is Day bringing in a caged, frothing, rabid Husky to prepare his players for Saturday? If not then Ohio State is probably gonna win.

Coaches show Castricone asks Jedd for his final message to the fans before the game.
"Let's go out there and see what happens"
"Let's go out there and see what happens?" Yikes. Way to get butts in the seats, Fish! Not only is that extremely weak, but usually when you hear a coach say something along those lines, the plunger is imminent.

Let's see if he mentions the cost of Ohio State's roster. Then we'll really know if the plunger is coming.

Just win. We learned a long time ago sizzle is overrated

Looking forward to this game. Williams, Coleman and Boston will be a challenge for our Defense to say the least. I look for our Freshman running back to get the line share of carries this week. He has 18 carries for 217 yards (12.1 yds per rush). If we can get some early success on the ground then looks for play action Deep. Sayin is a perfect 9/9 on throws over 20 yards and leads the nation with a 78.9% completion rate. OSU key to victory is to contain Williams he is a playmaker. My guess is we have Arvell Reese spying him all game.

Is the DB Styles out and any other injuries for OSU?
I actually would probably prefer Reese to spy Williams because that would take him out of pass defense and I'm not sure he has the acceleration / speed to catch Williams.

Styles is out @ the nickel position. We have played in a lot of 3-2-6 looks this year, not sure if we do that as much this week with the ground game Washington has.

Thanks, are there any other injuries you know of? UW doesn't have as much depth and will be missing a starting WR (Rashid Williams) and a starting LB (Tariq Al-Uqdah).
I'd probably start with a 4-3 / 3-4 if I was Ohio State because you don't want Coleman getting going.
I'm not sure what UW on D will do since Al-Uqdah is probably UW's best LB and UW's best corner (Tacario Davis) is questionable. I could see Walters going with some 5-2 looks on 1st down.
There is a chance that Manu is ready but he would only spell Bryant / Alexander.
Edge: Durfee
DT: Thompson
NT: Pepa / Sagapoulo
DT: Butler
Edge: Lane
LB: Bryant
LB: Alexander
Lane has been the pleasant surprise and Durfee has remained healthy so I see them on the field a lot. Neither are All-Conference guys but good enough to make some plays at home with the crowd.

a 3-2-6 would guarantee 200 yards on the ground for the Dawgs and keep them in the game ~ no way that is happening… they will run the same defense they employed vs Texas, make UW beat you through the air…

Typically it is a 3-2-6 look, with that said we are almost always walking a LB or Safety or sometimes both up for run support or blitz packages both Run & Pass Blitz. If the Huskies go for 200 on the ground you guys will have a good shot at winning.

I’m pretty sure most teams running for 200+ will win regardless of who they are playing…

Jedd Fisch disagrees.
