DeBore went to Bama and we hired Jedd Fisch. Also, Indiana hired a coach that is even (Much, Much, Much) better than the last one that left UW.

Yeah well some of us prefer to swim past the kiddy section and actually factor in stuff that actually happened, like your program has a historical hollowing out right before season 1 in the conference. Complete retooling over a 2 season sample size.

This is brilliant stuff, dtd. So a team can never move past what has happened in the past. I'm skeptical on UW this year, especially with this schedule, and think 6-8 wins is very much in play. The most realistic path to 10 wins also includes winning every single game other than their final two against programs that have made the last two CFPs.
That said, thinking a program can't do something because of what they did in 2024 in UW's situation is hilarious. Optimism points to Jedd having his breakout season at Arizona in his third year, having the second year of a DC who looked great last season, and the schedule seems tougher than 2025, but other than the final two games, there's not a team that projects stronger than Illinois last year. At USC looks like the third-toughest game and go look at how UW has played that program the past 20 years, especially when they aren't at their best.
