Washington Huskies Fall Camp 2019 Recap Open Thread

Dat Oline with with Pleasant or Dick Newton pounding on 3rd and short (we like to pound the Dick inside) if Luciano is any sort of a blocker this could be a Stanford power set[/s] super jumbo redux.

Sounds like 1989 all over again

The pups are barking at the vets

Talent upgrade that you can see

https://gohuskies.com/roster.aspx?roster=176

Asa - 187 - dangerously close to being a linebacker, lol
Benning - 290
Hunter Bryant - 240
Cam Will - 191 gained like 10 lbs since spring, which is important if he's gonna start

Draco is also listed at 6'4 268, maybe they meant to move him to TE

Now with a new number. Guess that seals it.

Good thing Huff is recruiting so well that we can cover the misses of Paopao. Gotta be grateful for the little things.

I think this is a mix of the two. Luciano not up to the level of the rest of OL talent, and TE misses leaves a spot to warehouse him until he wants to leave.

Wasn’t Sean Megrew at at like. 167 at one point last year and now homie is almost 190???? What kind of experiments are they doing on these boys

Midgy Mcgrew ready to take the job and look like Maurice Jones-Drew once he gets his chance after Ahmed fumbles for the second time against Cal.

Pretty disappointed that Ngata actually lost 3 fucking lbs. At 213 he is just a part time specialist. I was hoping to see him pop up to 225

agree, but Ulofoshio is looking tanned rested and ready to step in for major playing time.

Same. He was 208 when he got here so in 2+ years he's gained 5 pounds. No way he can be more than a very situational pass rusher at that weight so I wouldn't be surprised to see coaches continue to experiment at ILB with him. Too bad. He had two sacks and a third TFL in the spring game.

I remember when @puppylove_sugarsteel told me that adding weight wasn't a problem and to lurk until he's a junior. Spot on, per usual.

He has well documented shoulder issues that have kept him from lifting consistently. He’s explosive and fast, but I’m worried he won’t be able to hold up.
