And Tui really was the precursor to Russell Wilson. In some of those scramble and throws, he looked exactly like him.

And then Oakland happen...

Ah yes, the 51-3 drubbing? I believe Braxton Cleman was involved. One of your better backs out of Oroville, WA

I always remember Gov Gawry Locke presenting the trophy - congratulations to the Washington State Huskies

I remember Tui playing really well on MNF with the Raiders. He came in for an injured Gannon and the Raiders lost, but Tui looked good. I think Jerry Rice was complimentary about how he played.

That was a fun Apple Cup. I went on the field after that one. Spencer Marona gave me a W off his helmet that I think is still on the wall in my room the basement at my two dad's house.

He was leading a comeback against the chiefs or something and he called a fake spike throw play that failed. I remember thinking fuck yeah he's going to make it in the league...

Same here. Was on the field after. Still have Kyle Benn's helmet W to this day.

I get the whole reveling in a past AC curb stomp.

But if you guys are gonna rip on a kid selling the couch the lava lamp and the mini fridge at halftime. I'm out.

Rushing the field after a 48 point win over a 4-7 team whose running back quit at halftime is always special.

Rushing the field after a 48 point win over a 4-7 team whose running back quit at halftime clinching a Rose Bowl is always special.
