A Trump capitulation would have been ICE pulling out of MSP. My guess is Trump told Walz to play ball or he was going to make sure that the fraud investigation landed directly on his doorstep, and that he would’ve arrested and charged with insurrection after the signal chat leak, which means that the only negative thing to come of this is that someone else within the Minnesota DNC will have to fall on the sword for one-off those two items. Oh well. Walz is out of politics in 10 months anyway.
