It's called positioning to get an extremist nutjob to fall in line. Why would Trump say anything is off the table? That would be negotiating against himself.
 
Well, Iran has not only threatened to kill Trump but has attempted to do so. So under AOG rules of engagement Iran has declared war on the US and yet AOG thinks that we should ignore it? America Last, once again.

The Constitution would have to say we automatically declare war if declared on us, or it was in a law. But it ain't.
 
If you want, you can spend your Sundays browsing through the Constitution and all the laws to find the war reciprocity declaration or whatever. Good luck with that.
