I must say I am loving the less crowds in Vegas these days. Since us on Hardcore don’t need to stay in the Excalibur to enjoy what Vegas has to offer it’s nice to see a little higher level of Vegas attendee!!

Vegas used to be fun. Now they charge you for everything and entertainment is really only for the wealthy. $300 For Beatles Love was ridiculous. When you are out past midnight it gets really seedy with high priced hookers on every Asian and Indian arm within sight, and the lowlifes are on every corner reefing away and I hate the smell of pot.. Its not safe anymore as you see multiple fights on the strip.
I have been there a couple hundred times, mostly for business and am never going back now that my last Vegas friend has moved on. But I am not a gambler, so I get why those that like giving their money away enjoy the place, its just not for me. In the 90's when they started tearing down all the old famous smaller hotels and started building the monstrosities, they figured out that the suckers still came to gamble and they didn't have to offer $5.99 buffets, a roll of quarters when you got off the plane, cheap but nice hotel rooms, unlimited booze when gambling. I was there opening week for the MGM Grand and was impressed. 15 years later I stayed there and the place was a dump.
If I had a nickel for every time I have heard gamblers say they never lose in Vegas I would have been able to retire at 30.
