Veep debates mean less than the main show. Lloyd Bensten telling Quaye he is no JFK is memorable. And then Bush won anyway
The stakes are higher for this VP debate than others simply because of how little the public has seen of Harris and Walz, and how many major events, including assassination attempts and multi-front military conflicts, are directly attributable to the Harris-Biden administration and their lack of holding anyone accountable.
I would agree with you - but Harris' "I'm speaking" moment hit home with suburban moms.
Vance has a shot at showing how clueless the Dem ticket is. Stay on target- make Walz sweat. It won't take much.
I don't know, this debate showed Vance is very good and a good person for Trump's VP.... I think this helps Trump with independents big time.
81 million alleged dem voters voted for the dementia patient over Trump in 2020 because of mean tweets. That wasn't rational then and voting for Headboard isn't rational today. For lots of "independent" women the only issue on the ballot in November is unlimited abortion. If Tug leftards can't articulate their policy reasons for voting for Headboard what are independents issues? I'd say open borders, inflation in food, energy and housing prices. But independents are notably soft in the head and empty promises from dems are soothing to their feelings.
