Not too terrible for only working 3/4 of the year, getting every holiday imaginable off as well as “teacher work days”
Now obviously these aren’t starting salaries but that’s an impressive raise scale over a 4 year span.
Advanced degree, 15+ years of service, taking on additional contract incentives and responsibilities outside of school hours, cashing in unused sick days, and teaching in the Northshore School District (in the case of the highest paid teacher in the category) can get you to a pretty decent payday in the State of Washington. Not shedding any tears for the very top earners, but they only got there by paying their dues, not unlike the high earners in any occupation. And anyone who thinks teachers work only on school days didn't grow up in a school teacher's household.

Kali went from a principal and a vice principle to run a school to 1 supervisor teacher for every 3 teachers. They made up new positions to earn more money and had to hire more teachers to replace the supervisor teachers. Yet we wonder why the budget has increased dramatically. It's a scam.

The unjustifiable expansion of positions within school districts (particularly admin) might be one of the very few subjects we do agree on.

I actually agree with a bunch of this. Marrying a teacher and seeing the absolute shitshow she deals with and the hours she works gave me a new appreciation for the profession.

Grandpa Ern taught elementary school for 45 years. Dad Ern taught elementary school for 40. Ern used to teach and run college labs for a few years and those shits are even worse than the kids. Junior high teachers might have it worst though.
Teachers are gods among men.

Your grandpa may have been a god among men but obviously he married poorly and so did Dad Ern and now we have to deal with grandson Ern. One is not like the others for some reason. Ern's team has taken discipline out of the classroom and the teacher's hands. And now Ern thinks that it is Trump's fault.

And some wonder why we spend the most money for the worst education results. This started with the number one dosed person on the Tug commentating and hoping to get his daily reach around from the dazzler. Seldom disappointed.

Insulting the women of Ern's family was really the only choice you had, apparently.
All class.

That's me. Never concerned about telling the truth. I'm not the one/ones enabling Ern or the rest of the hate America leftards. Nothing says class like claiming a fake MBA.
