WA State | $15 Billion Budget Deficit

I've heard from several lobbyists that the $15 billion number is fake news. Still a huge deficit, but it's half of that. They trot the big number out to justify their tax increase proposals.
 
Wait! I thought the stock market and economy were the best ever over the last 4 years? Thank God biden pulled us out of a "potential recession". I mean, shouldn't the government have averaged 33% return on their investments like Ern has historically done? They should have a surplus right?

The rich people in Washington simply need to pay more in taxes. Probably an income tax is next for people making too much money. “Too much money” will be determined by people whose salaries are paid largely by people with “too much money.”
