They know. There's always a host school (or sometimes a conference). What that entails, I'm not totally sure.

Whoregon hosted the gaymes in the Rose Moto Garden Center or whatever the hell they call it, which was weird since Ewegene is 100 miles away.

Yup, the UW logo at Key Arena is because UW is hosting the game. Doesn't need to be on campus or anything, just the NCAA gives schools the opportunity to host a game and they can choose where they want the games to be played.
