He’s a climate change guy but he also knows you can’t turn the spigot off and not adversely affect the middle and lower classes. He espouses a new American made and American built energy grid to house and transport green energy. Without that grid the windmills, solar panels and electric cars are a grift. He knows this. He likens it to the building of the interstates. A major undertaking to make American life cheaper and better. I’m for green energy in principle but the current proposals are retarded and detrimental to my life as a poor.

He isn't a capitalist and he is an authoritarian top down huge government supporter. Nukes make sense. Solar and wind power doesn't. It will never be cheap or green. Spending tens of trillions on a new energy grid to provide dirty, unreliable and expensive energy isn't going to help the private sector middle class. Building nukes and drilling for US oil and gas is the source for a booming US economy as Race pointed out.
