Watching everyone dressed in Orange, along with bouncing up and down, plus everyone being in their seats b4 kick-off got me thinking.

What would it take for a UW crowd to come even close to something like that.

Giving everyone $200 to get there early, Giving out a purple shirt as they walked in the stadium AND having another one as a back-up on each seat, then hoping peer pressure would get the holdouts to throw it on.

Even then, I'm not convinced that would work.

UW simply needs to use some Alice in Chains as intro music. I fucking told everyone which song (Rain When I Die) and how to choreograph it.

Idiots. It would be one of the best immediately, but no...

Good song but not mainstream enough now. If started in the 90s it wouldve caught on

Hoping beer sales help. With the thought that people linger at tailgates to get their last drink down.

I'm convinced that if you did it right, with the long intro playing as the team gathers (everyone can see them on the jumbo screen, right?) does their hype thing with all the jumping around and grab assing that excited kids do, then bursts onto the field with smoke etc right as the main riff kicks off, then it would catch on in a hurry. The clueless people would gradually learn that it was a Seattle band and all that and would lap it up.

Maybe I'm wrong. I can see it and hear it in my mind though and it works.

People forget that Metallica did a concert in the USSR in 1991 which had 1.6 million people attend. People forget that.
