Look at the tape. He runs like a LB and doesn’t look like he’s great lateraly either. He does look like he has good ball skills and is long. Not sure where he fits though. Safeties can’t be that[/i] slow.

Agree he doesn't look very fast or sudden. It is a little hard to tell because he rarely runs more than 10 yards in his entire video and when he does he isn't really outrunning guys. If he has decent speed you'd think there'd be a clip of him chasing someone down as a safety... or not having to use two plays of him throwing 5 yard passes while playing WR.
I think BTP is right on most of the other traits, though.

I? don’t buy the irony because it’s not like Crystalball is swimming in Blue Chip defensive backs this cycle. Mostly because there aren’t any besides Ceyair Wright, and it seems like ASU is the team pushing hardest for him right now.
This is just a year where every coach is going to tout their three-star rivals, knowing Montana State will buy their couches in two years if their evals are wrong.

On the 10 NW/CA players 247 most wants to see play this fall:
We saw Oakley (Calif.) Freedom defensive back Vincent Nunley last spring when he was a sophomore when he was playing with KT Prep on the 7v7 circuit and he was an early eval guy for us. He played his junior year at Alameda (Calif.) Encinal before transferring in the offseason to Freedom, the same school Giles Jackson, now at Michigan, was a late bloomer and eventually a Top247 player. We got a chance to see him three times this spring playing with KT Prep and he was usually their best DB, able to play corner or safety but we think he ultimately settles in at safety. Washington and Utah are two of his most recent offers while Kansas was his first Power 5 offer.
