UW & Tulane Game Thread

Unfocused, bad effort tonight. They did win, but it was bad
But coming off a big win in vegas 2 days ago, I'll cut them some slack
11-0!
 
I think Tulane might be the best unranked 9-2 team we've faced this year.

They played some nice D, and we had some really sloppy passing.
 
This was set up for a classic "let down" game, but they overcame 18 turnovers and showed some character down the stretch...I will take it.

Now take care of the Seawolves and the OOC resume looks pretty good.

 
They still haven't played a complete 40 minutes against a quality opponent.
When Goss and Andrews started missing FT's it became clear they lacked focus.
In retrospect it should've been expected, as ID22 said just take care of SB and roll into conference play

And yet, they're still undefeated.

If they continue to develop as a team, they might actually be dangerous come tourney time.

Keep in mind that Romar's teams usually have a slow start and then finish strong.
 
We have some dumbfucks (Anderson in particular) on our team who continue to attempt absurd passes that go nowhere. That said, good win.

I thought anderson played pretty well overall. He had a few bad passes, but not as careless as some of the others.

Like you said, our whole team was throwing the ball all over the place. It was good to see a team gut out a win even while playing like doo doo.
 
This game had every cliche' known to man. Game after big win vs Oky, home right before the conference schedule, christmas a few days away, most guys likely flying home for a few days right after the game. All in all, getting away from this game when the other team came out on fire from 3 really is a good thing.

I'm not going to complain about how crappy we looked with everything said above, and we got the W.
