NAU opened the season with a 30 point loss to Arizona. Vegas has UW as 15 point favorites, would like to see them shoot the ball much better tonight.

The UW should be able to handle NAU easily as they don't have the guard play to handle the UW's full court pressure nor the big men on their roster to keep Roberts from amassing rebounds from what I seen from them against Arizona on Tuesday. Still if the UW comes out shooting bricks this game could be closer than it should be. UW is favored by 16.

This fucking loser is about to put in his 3rd straight bottom tier finish in conference. Jen gave him a contract for winning the conference ugly in 2018 with Romar's players and getting past one round.

Just make Pondexter the coach for the rest of the year and hire BRoy. Give him some honorary degree or some shit to appease the druids.
 
NAU and NIU just seem to be the same level as UW, which for Hopkins long term job prospects and potential for at least a somewhat entertaining season seems not great.

The investigation continues.
 
The refs are going to give this game to the UW if they can make their fts down the stretch. This is a really boring game to watch though...no flow, too many whistles.

The UW didn't shoot particularly well in any phase of the game

  • UW FG: 22-60 (36%)
  • UW 3FG: 5-13 (38%)
  • UW FT: 24-35 (68%)

but were the obviously better team with the better players. UW was outrebounded 42-40 by NAU and had 14 turnovers with only 5 assists as a team. Ball movement is still an issue as is the 2-3 zone defense which a team with decent shooting can beat from the perimeter and the free throw line area.

Washington plays a big and experienced team in Texas Southernhttps://tsusports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster in the next game on November 18th. Texas Southern which lost to Oregon 83-66 on Tuesday plays Saint Mary's tomorrow.

Hopefully this is Mike Hopkins last season coaching at Montlake it has been really unbearable to watch Husky basketball under his leadership especially after Romar's players left the program.

How does a team finish A 40 minute game with 5 total assists?

Leave it to hop to find a way. Everyone knew her should have been fired last year and he is cementing what everyone already knew in fantastic Fashion.
