UW Couch Sales & Purchases (Portal Tracker)

He's an insane athlete, looks like he is shot out of a cannon relative to other players around him.

This is the kind of player you get in the fold and figure out where he is the best fit. Maybe it's WR, maybe it's DB.

I'm pleasantly surprised at his physicality and for such a high center of gravity, his balance / ability to stay on his feet is impressive.
Who is Donny Mateaki for $100 Alex?

He is right though. This guy's speed is really something and he's a pretty big guy for WR or DB. I can see TBS dooging about him a bit. I see some red flags that temper my expectations. I also see him as extremely unlikely to help for at least a year and WR has questions right now.

It doesn't mean I don't think he's worth a roster spot.

There is nothing wrong with being intrigued with his athleticism and being hopeful he can help out in some way. Not every player has to be a star and there is value in guys that excel at one or two things such as special teams, perimeter blocking, going deep, etc.

I also agree with the ones that aren’t that excited because he was currently a 5th string WR at Ohio State and doesn’t really have a position at this point.

He also doesn’t automatically suck because he was buried at Ohio State. It happens and guys don’t try very hard and lose confidence when that happens and need a new start. He was also playing a new position at a school that is loaded. If he’s good, that is great. If not, he will be somewhere else next year.

He’s the next Marvin Hall. Calling it now.

Thankfully he has 5 or 6 inches and at least 20 lbs on him.

How I see it is that he and Justice Williams will be fighting for the same roster spot in 2027. They have similar builds and both have very nice upside.

Hopefully not. I feel there are better QB’s. I hardly even care because every year there are options to upgrade at QB anyways.
I don't think you can pass on a guy like Kaho in your backyard. I think he's a must take, or close to it. If he sucks, we can always get a 5'10 transfer to take the reins.

What was the last kid from Lincoln that actually lived up to the hype he was given by the TBS services?

That guy feels like another Cyler Miles or Jeff Lindquist to me.

Definitely not Cyler Miles because he has a much more natural throwing motion with a quicker release. Miles looked the part but then you see him throwing and you wanted to save your eyes.

Lindquist was smart and very good athlete but not accurate enough. I don't think the coaching change from Sark to Peterson helped either.

Kaho definitely has a higher floor and higher ceiling than both had.
