Hard not to be disappointed by the portal class for UW. There's some nice returning pieces but quietly a lot of experience and talent lost. felt like the program needed to bring in some nice pieces to accompany what returns and the incoming freshmen to have any shot to push past the 8ish win territory. Seems instead they brought in a bunch of depth pieces and I have no faith in the roster to move the needle at all. Could be wrong though.

I do remember a time that season when TBS was still a thing and posters said the next season would be terrible. I replied that this (2023) was the season and we shouldn’t give a fuck about next year. I still stand by that. I was a little kid in 91 so it doesn’t count for me so 2023 was the best season of my life.
I think we win 9. 10+ with any luck at all. I still think we will be good next year.
I’m with you Roadie. If UW’s Junior, not young anymore, QB gets any better, 10 regular season wins is on the table. If he flatlines in his development then 8-9 seems like level ground for this roster.

I don’t believe Jedds strategy of leaning more on TBS works in the NIL era. Someone previously said this class will have the same amount of freshies playing as this past year and I called bullshit. Well, you’re probably right and that’s the scary part as that recipe doesn’t align with what success looks like at other school in this NIL era of bullshit. So we? rely on a great class, that doesn’t have many day 1 starters, to have a whole bunch of can’t miss and must start or make significant impact from day 1 players. Color me not optimistic about that but maybe jedd can pull a miracle in his last season at udub.
