If UW can't even get a one of the good enough / experienced remaining portal WRs like Kyle Parker of LSU (originally from Texas), then I would have to blame Pat Chun for not raising more money for NIL and keeping NIL in-house rather than letting a 3rd party handle it.
The problem with the WR corp as it stands now is definitely not talent but it is experience. Rashid Williams will be a RS-JR next year but missed nearly all of 2025 and only has 18 catches to his name. Roebuck gained a lot of great experience last year thankfully and will only be a true soph after 42 catches. Chris Lawson only caught 10 balls and will be a true soph next year. Without an experienced transfer, that isn't a veteran WR room and the 4th WR will be either Justice Williams (RS-Soph with 2 career catches), RS-Frosh Azose with no catches, or a true frosh.
But one has to think TE will be an improvement because DeGraaf will be going into his 3rd year (true JR) and he has 47 career catches and Kade Eldridge will be back healthy while Naone takes off his redshirt and will battle with two other guys along with Rhino for #3 TE.
I do think the OL will be better, not by a massive amount but it does return 4 of 5 starters. There may be some growing pains at LT with Greene / Kolt Deidrich but Mills is a beast, Hatchett will be healthy again, Champ T. should take over for G. Hatchett at RG and has a much higher ceiling, and Azzopardi is a RS-SR who showed good improvement between his RS-Soph and RS-JR year.
RB is worse heading into the season but it's worth noting that Jonah Coleman had a career worst YPC (4.9) and had his lowest yardage total since he was a true frosh. Mohammed also averaged 4.9 ypc while interestingly enough, Jordan Washington averaged 8.6 yards per carry on a small sample size (27 carries) while Jayden Limar averaged 5.7 yards per carry toting the ball 46 times. While there is no way JW's ypc will stay that elevated if he has 100 carries and same for Limar if he has 125, it wouldn't surprise me if they collectively averaged over 4.9 ypc. Would that be that much worse? Bonner is the wildcard since we don't know if he'll be able to embarrass defenses as a frosh but he is supremely talented.
Lastly, we have QB. A returning starter with a full season's of starts under his belt usually progresses rather than regresses, right? And I'd argue that I'd rather have more talented RS-Frosh like McMillan and Brierly as back-ups than a RS-SR who had been pushed out at Tulane.
