Their passing game SUCKED this year. SUCKED. I don't watch closely enough to know for sure if it was the WRs sucking, the QB sucking or the schemed passing game sucking. Probably abundance.
It doesn't usually help WRs be great when they are the 4th option.
But given that Cook went all Antonio Brown without proving himself first, trying to get a guy who is also fast might help a little.

You're right the spring portal isn't as good as the winter portal, but the winter portal is already over. Of the top 75 WRs that entered the portal, only 3 are uncommitted. There's a chance higher talent WRs will enter the spring portal compared to the 3 uncommitted, but the amount of quality won't compare to the overall winter portal

I'm predicting there will be more talent in the spring portal than last year.
