Go get one of the Penn State WRs in the portal.
They’re not great but they were in a bad passing offense with a meh QB.

When we can't keep Thad or get a decent interior linemen and one of our top gets appears to be unstable and gone this is a bad sign. Off season natty is out of reach at this point. Signs point to another mid season probably no where close to the top of the conference.
 
Im sure he got some cash fronted. This was a luxury addition that probably tied up a fair amount of budget. Not good when you are returning 3/5 of one of the shittiest OL ever seen.

I think that's optimistic because at this point there are 2 home losses in the books
But it's an exhibition season anyway
 
The smoke I've seen has been more character issues than asked for more money situation. Everything about the entire exchange didn't smell right. There's no reason the guy shouldn't have just stayed at Texas and bailing on a team that seemed like a playoff lock is a bad sign.
Seemed liked he desperately wanted to go anywhere else but no other Top 25 type program would take him so he caved and went to UW.
Not a great sign the program can't bring in a stable proven WR. Maybe take what you were going to give him to up the ridiculous offer which apparently it would take to get the Puyallup Idaho WR to leave fucking TCU.
