Noted, but there have been a lot of posts treating it like an assumption.
All I'm saying is that Dixon is bag hunting and nothing more. They didn't show him the door by telling him he was being pushed inside . They can't be that dumb.

While many football players are dumb, I don't think he is so dumb that he is aloof to the idea that he is gonna be playing a lot of snaps in the slot if he stays.

I would think he's smart enough to know that these things aren't determined on paper during the off-season. They move players around and decide who works best and where before games start.
 
It's who you have on September 1 and what you do with them
Then hope no one portals mid season

Does seem odd to burn his redshirt, get him ready to play and then bring in two guys to take his snaps. Whatever. I guess he can begin his Bryan Addison journey of discovery.
 
As always if they leave we didn't want them and the latest guy is better until he leaves and we didn't want him
A reminder that we are dealing with 18 to 21 year olds here. Logic doesn't apply
 
Fish needs to be a good enough salesman and coach to get through to Dixon that his best bet in the NFL is slot and a year here prepares him better for that than trying to play another year outside at UNC.
