UW Couch Sales & Purchases (Portal Tracker)

This is a really good get and should calm the Fisch doomers down some
Did you watch a lot of k state oline play this year? Asking for a friend.
He's a very good run blocker and though he had a down season in 2024, I expect him to be at least average in pass-blocking in 2025.
In contrast and per the Seattle Times, "Azzopardi surrendered five sacks, four hits and 19 hurries. He had a 52.1 run-blocking grade and a 44.1 pass-blocking grade in 2024. Only Tafai and Faasolo — in significantly limited snaps — had worse grades on UW’s offensive line.
Willis immediately becomes the most experienced tackle on UW’s roster. Azzopardi, McCree and Faasolo all played in 2024 with mixed results, while former composite four-star prospect and redshirt freshman Elishah Jackett battled injuries and never saw the field."
So if he's an average Big 10 tackle, that's actually a significant improvement over Azzopardi:

Willis is good on film; he knows what he's doing and can move like an OT should.

Pepa makes me pitch tent. Massive body, veteran, and had a good offer list coming out of HS:

he’s looking for a bag. Dudes that size don’t grow on trees. Too lazy to find film so I’ll be interested to see whose going after him.
I do hope contracts are coming similar to what coaches have with a minimum of a two year contract for players. If they want to leave after 1 year, there should be a buyout.

Reports that Ewers has a 4 million offer from a B1G school. Texas ready for Manning. Oh and the playoffs
Crazy

Seems like Oregon checks both the Needs a QB box and Has Unlimited Money box. I don’t think Dante Moore is the guy there.

UW has beaten Ewers twice so that might as well go for the hat trick next year.
Now reports Ewers is going to the NFL in 2025. Not sure he would have made sense for Oregon. Who was the last QB they had with his level of mobility? Brady Leaf?

The story on X was the NFL thinks he could use another year in college but Texas doesn't want to lose Arch so he gone

If Moore is officially a bust in Eugene then Ewers would be a nice fit in Steins offense because he can’t throw past 20 yards that well. He’s great at the short stuff.

As much as we make fingering for the short passing game, it’s frustrating to watch as a fan of the opposing team. It seems like the QB always has a wide open guy, usually running and with room to keep running.
