550k a year to Great Plains trappers like Morrell and Schmidt is the jackpot of a life time. You know how many log cabins half a mil a year can get you?
 
Why would you pay a staff more than it takes to get them in the boat if you think they will do a good job. Pay them bare minimum and then if they succeed then pay them more. Ez

Yeah, that's not why people are upset. We're upset because this confirms that we hired very few coveted coaches and didn't actually compete for these guys.

Texas A&M pays more to assistant coaches and head coaches on 20 million less in revenue. Yep that’s right .

Texas A&M invests to win UW says it does. Little to no commitment to win boys.

Now think on what A&M did vs what the UW just did with this hire. With less money!!!! Imagine UW signing Jimbo to coach here. UW has the money they just don’t want to invest. It embarrasses the upper campus. They choose not to invest. Period. And what’s so funny, UW doesn’t really have the academic chops or the reputation and really is not known any where outside of the left coast. People still think I went to Wash U in Saint Louis an arguably superior institution , George Washington or Washington University or University of Wisconsin. So the fucking retards of upper campus can’t even do that right either. Pathetic Self pleasuring losers.

 
Which poster told me in another thread that the salaries weren't cheap? Looks cheap as fuck to me. One guy making a mil and the next highest at $700k.

The difference between what UW supposedly offered Campbell and what they're paying Deboer covers over half of the assistant salary pot.

You have to remember Sonics was only willing to send $2,000,000 if it went towards Campbell.
 
The program is second tier and will remain there until upper campus changes. And that won’t change until you change the board. That is a number between 500 to a billion. I don’t have it. But unfortunately that’s what it will take.
