He needs a hard stop no dribbling ban placed on his head. Set screens, pop to wing or stand in the corner. That's it. He's an okay[/i] catch and shoot shooter, so if he takes a couple corner threes a game I'm fine with it. But that's all he's allowed to do.
How he was our inbound guy in press break last year is unbelievable.

Rebound, contest shots, disrupt the passing lanes, and only take your baseline jumper when it’s open. Fast break dunks and put backs are also allowed.

Good win Huskies! Indeed there’s been a lot of tormented Cuse fans that lament that Boeheim didn’t retire in time to retain Hopkins. He’s a good coach with a lot of talent to work with. Hope he keeps winning big games like this one.
I’d have loved him as SU’s coach but love him as UW’s coach, too. SU scored like 34 points against Virginia. This win by Hopkins will get lots of folks talking about what could have been. I don’t think Hop will go anywhere, at least anytime in the foreseeable future. His kids are settled and he’s near to family. And he’s building a legacy for himself. Good for him...

He’s not elite. He would be in the NBA if he was. He’s going to be pretty good and that’s really all we need. Stewart, McDaniels, and Naz give us plenty of scoring.
I was hoping Wright got passed up. He’s hard to like because he’s such a mess on offense, but he can play D and that’s important. There is no reason he even has the ball enough to commit 4 TO’s.

Came here to say this. No coincidence the offense started clicking when he came out down 13. He came back in after UW was within 3.
He can’t shoot or create at all but hopefully he will be able to run the offense better once he gets some confidence.

Elite college PG doesn’t mean he’ll be in the NBA. Too small and not bouncey but he’s really good.

This game was the biggest event in Anchorage since I’ve been here. Crowd was raucous in favor of UW and looked like the kids were feeding off it at the end. Hope they do it again next year.
Shitty thing is no alcohol in the upper concourse which they don’t tell you when you’re buying it. So spent most of the first half standing and waiting for the wife to sip her IPA.
