i'm in utah for a little biz and pleasure, so i thought i'd share with you all my learnings of the drinking rules here.

some simple rules to avoid 3.2% mormon beer:

1. don't buy beer from grocery/convenience stores. it is all 3.2% garbage.
2. don't buy draught beer from bars, it is all 3.2% garbage.
3. don't buy bottled beer at bars that is not labeled "full strength" or "DABC" (means it is sold by the liquor store to the account and not the local beer distributor)

some simple rules to enjoy yourself in utah with regular people alcohol:

1. buy booze/wine at bars, not beer. booze is all full strength, duh.
a. for Damone, i'd suggest a nice Pinot.
2. buy beer in bottles that are labeled DABC
3. go to the liquor stores and buy your drank.

that's all.

your welcome.

I always travel with a few bottles on Mangria for such situations. My worst day ever was when I landed in Memphis to work in near by Arkansas. I checked in to a hotel and went to find the bar. Was told I was in a dry county. Fuck. It was 10 pm and I didn't want to go anywhere. By the way #dryjanuary has nothing on #drycounty. That last time I didn't carry a traveller.

Derek asked me via PM to stop bumping threads. That goes for you to.

He wants you to save some for next off season - and I share that concern

You were burning through them like a family oriented politician through teenage boys
