This was an institutional failure. The AD couldn’t pitch a long term competitive vision to KDB because there isn’t one to be pitched, and it starts with the fact that UW AD finances are in a horrendous situation. It is what it is, guys.

I'd like to see the post mortem on what UW offered in an effort to keep DeBoer, before drawing final conclusions.

But something doesn't sit right with me on this one. Sometimes you gotta date the gal that took you to dance for a while if they UW's level of hotness. I'm not saying the guy doesn't have a right to look at more prestigious jobs some day, but you don't bolt UW after year 2 when just made the CFP. You just don't.
