USC/UCLA sell Pac 12 couch

Well, some of the of the flights to the Big 10 West are only about 45 minutes longer than the flight to Seattle (Omaha, Des Moines, Minneapolis). Chicago is a bit more than an hour more. Granted the drive from some of these airports is Coug esque with drives up to 2 hours. I have no clue if the regional airports can support larger planes. I assume yes but uncertain.

Legit don't think this happens but scenarios like this are what keep the conversations rolling during the offseason. We are less than 70 days from the season which is exciting.

I would expect Oregon, Washington, and two of either Stanford/Cal/Arizona/ASU will be next.

USC/UCLA can't even win the PAC 12 conference, how do they think they'll fare in the Big10?

USC is so full of itself that it can’t see that it has been a major part of the Pac 12’s problems the past 10 years. Now they finally hire a real coach they bolt. Lol

Oregon fans, sell me on why a conference wants you? Very difficult stadium to get to, no TV market, track record of negative recruiting and going to throw money at kids to overpay recruits that just drives up the cost for everyone.

Obviously Phil can buy them in but all his shit just benefits one program and fucks the others.

It's their AD. Everything changed once they hired Bohn.

Is Riley a "real coach"? From what I've seen, his teams play offense, but absolutely zero defense.

Because Oregon cares about football, spends money, and has a national brand. Was that a serious question, or have you always been one of Haie's alt accounts?

Crisp play by the big 10, media right negotiations coming up, would it help if we add the LA TV market to our conference?

It just might.

I don’t think Trooj cares about winning but this new big 10 media deal gonna trump anything the p12 would get and then split.

I'll give you the first one until Phil dies then everything is a question mark. Second one doesn't benefit anyone but them. Having a few incels on Twitter in Florida and signing non-region guys who get dropped by the blues in their region doesn't make you a national brand.

Adding the LA schools opens up a new market for you eyeballs and recruiting wise. Maybe Seattle and the Bay Area does too. Oregon does nothing.

How does a school spending money not help the conference? If Oregon is willing to continuously upgrade and pay for talented players, it only improves them competitively, and helps provide a stronger conference.

Oregon still draws a solid national audience. You can pick or choose Cal or Stanford and get the Bay area. Washington gets you Seattle. Arizona or ASU gets you Phoenix, and Oregon gets you Portland. You can shit on Oregon's market all you want, but it's still larger than Northwestern, Purdue, Indiana, and Nebraska.

No brand?

California insisted that USC and ucla play Cal and Stanford every year regardless of division

They go too and that's your 16 teams

I have zero interest in anything after that

Roll Tide and fuck off
