USC QB Sears has a couch for sale.

It's pretty much common knowledge that he beat out Daniels last year in camp but Daniel's got the job because of his TBS rating. This was inevitable.

He outplayed him too when he had live minutes. Daniels might have incriminating picture of Helton or something

Sounds like a mirror image of the UW situation.

Local radio show had Petros on this AM and the hosts couldn't believe how much he was trashing the current coaching staff and qb. It was pretty hilarious.

Petros is legit, a true troojan halfbrain

I'm exposed to Petros on a regular basis here in SoCal and while his attitudes 100% are SC' centric he at least has decent takes and insight.

I hear from a USC assistant that Clay Helton tried to convince Jack Sears to remain with the team after he said he would transfer.

Of course he did. What happens if JT Daniels gets hurt and then Kedon Slovis/Matt Fink struggle? Helton needs a QB.

Remember last year, USC lost its two top quarterbacks for a game. And Sears nearly rescued USC vs. Arizona State.

So Helton was protecting himself.

Besides Helton, Graham Harrell has not covered himself in glory going along with the company line that Sears was the fourth-best QB on the team.

Maybe USC stands for University of Spin Controllers.

Scott has a lot of @haie in his life.
