Here is a thought. Smart talented English speaking immigrants will be successful and a contributor to American society. An illiterate Venezuelan gang member released from prison to come to the US to go on welfare and continue his life of crime here in the US will not. No Ukrainian NAZIs, no MS-13 members and no sharia supporting Muslims. But buck has no real thoughts and assumed he made some sort of killer point.
The illegal immigration is another topic, the topic I wanted to address is this board's general distaste for diversity and any attempts to encourage it. People from different backgrounds may have different viewpoints, perspective approaches etc that are healthy. Look…now we kick ass in cricket! We can do that across the board as soon as you old farts get out of the way and let us unleash that diverse talent!

Define diversity? You project way too much. I worked with legal immigrants from all over the world and many gays and lesbians and I had no problems. They were all educated, spoke English, most had families to which they were very dedicated. But that's not how your side defines diversity. Your side starts with eliminating white people, especially conservative white males regardless of competency. When your "diversity" eliminates meritocracy then it's really just race and sex based discrimination. Of course you don't want to talk about illegal immigration nor do you want to talk about active race and sex based discrimination in our public schools, governments and large corporations.

No one wants to "eliminate" conservative white males. Leveling the playing field so that our jobs represent the US population accurately overcoming built in biases…yes.

Give me the odds of a white conservative male getting an Ivy League presidency? A UO or UW presidency? Entire categories of jobs are off limits to white male conservatives. The playing field was level. Like I said, hiring less competent individuals in the name of diversity is not leveling the playing field, it's just race and sex based discrimination in violation of the US Constitution and the US civil rights statutes.
