US Soccer Men And Women's Teams Agree To SHARE World Cup Pay In Weird Story

So the men's team is subsiding the woman's team. Same as it ever was.

Hopefully the WNBA can get some equality as well.
 
That’s good. I have always thought clothing conpanies who can’t sell any clothes should still be making the same money as a company who sells a bunch.
 
Hopefully some of them men an transition and join the womens team. It's not as if a soccer player would have far to go to transition to a woman

What the men make is irrelevant to what the women should make. If the earn more, they should be paid more. If they earn less, they should be paid less. Wins and losses isn’t relevant.

Also highlights how shitty of a game soccer is.

The hilarious part of this, is that many women on the team will make less than before. For if you aren’t on a roster for a friendly, qualifier or WC match, you don’t get paid. And sans the WC, that roster changes almost every match.

And this so called equity is only due to the USMNT opening up their wallets.

The reward money for the Mens WC advancements are about 15 times what the womens are. Due to there being about 15 times more eyeballs on the Mens WC. So if the Men make it to the round of 16 even, they just made more than 5 times what the Womens team would make if they won it all.
 
Women need to understand that nobody at all but their parents care about their sport. Nobody watches. So there is no money. So fuck off.
