Losses again in Brent and WTI today because OPEC+ keeps pumping out crude while the USA and Canada should be setting the market. This is just basic economics but for some reason the American Left, as a part of being a member of their cult, allows other nations to do whatever they need for energy.
Meanwhile, “we” are putting up roadblocks on ourselves.
Even with all of this awful emergy stewardship by us, China’s economy is still in a free fall.

We have a government right now with no understanding of how to run anything, let alone complex issues like carbon policy and grocery prices.
I’m not sure there is anyone in the current administration that could not have me laugh them out of the room as they ignore or just lie about OPEC+ owning them as the world suffers.

My main beef with Keystone at the moment is when conservatives try to blame that for the existing high prices of gas when the data implies nothing of the sort.

Biden and Trump have both proposed tariffs on Chinese autos. No word from Kamala yet, but we can imagine.
Ideally we wouldn't need tariffs, as currency fluctuations would move naturally. I've evolved on this topic over the years, we need fair trade, not free trade. We should be tariffing some European products for their business practice of making it nearly impossible for American companies to compete in their markets where there is an existing European player. Meanwhile we allow their stuff in to compete no problems.

Europe, specifically France and Germany, can die a thousand deaths and it won't be enough after some of the shit they've put me through.

We should sink the CCP with trade tariffs on every single item. We've already decoupled, the Ray Dalio types have already taken their capital out, and the only thing propping them up at this point is cheap trade dumping. It's time to pull the rug. FTG.
