Penix had the biggest impact of any player in UW history, IMO. His wins above replacement (which I'm sure PFF actually tracks - kill me) is probably 3 or 4 games in 2023.

Imagine having Penix in 2021? Got me thinking which was interesting if you swap Penix and Tui. I love both QBs and think they're great in different ways and I think UW wins way less in 2000 with Penix and way less in 2023 with Tui.
Penix running the 1985 NFL offense with his line putting on a shit ton of useless fat and having 3 foot splits would be chinteresting. McGrew would be pretty fucking good with him.
Beat Montana and OSU, probably ASU, UCLA and Oregon are true coin flips, for sure beat Colorado. Probably coug.
