The only game on today is Army Navy and that means that @swaye and I hate each other for a few hours today. OK, hate might be too strong a word but you get the point.

Today is the day to TUFOS and remind yourselves that both of us retired after 20 years and get paid just breathing now and obviously as a fat man, it’s a difficult chore for me to do that.

Many of you know, both academies roll special uniforms for this game. I have no idea about Navy but Army is going with this

The shoulder patch represents the 3rd Infantry Division whose motto is The Rock of The Marne. It’s historically significant for some war or battle or something.

I’ve heard Navy is going with something along these lines

After all, it’s not gay underway.

Enjoy the game and TUFOS or at least contribute to my GoFundMe to support my nacho cheese sauce habit.

Just remember, the Naval Academy has a losing record to St. John's College in Croquet. It got so bad that the Commandment wanted to shut it down a few years ago. St. John's kicks navy's ass in croquet.

I know people who coached baseball at Annapolis and West Point, and they both say that the Army Navy football game is the most fun they have ever had at a game…watched this with my dad forever, and because he was a Navy man, GO NAVY…and TYFYS!

Being an ex-Army guy - not retired, actually I think the Army was happy I was only there for 3 years - I still root for them.

My grandpa and one of my dads were army, but my step grandpa and wife’s grandpa were both navy.probably have to lean army on this one.

First college football game I ever went to was the 1974 Army-Navy game at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia. Dad was a Navy pilot who served numerous deployments in Vietnam flying A6’s while stationed out of NAS Whidbey. He was serving a two year stint in DC, so took the opportunity to drive up to Philly (ILTCIPIDT) on Dec. 1. I was in middle school at the time and my biggest memory was seeing President Ford on the field before the game. From our seats his red side hair and bald head were clearly discernible among the cadets and midshipmen.

Navy kicked Army’s ass, 19-0. CSB.

Go Navy.
